Moonauts Demo Devlog 3
Big Update:
12/02/2023
Playable demo is still a little ways off (sorry!)
Inventory is now 1/2 the size and combines with shop menu (when also opened)
Changed buttons around a little and re-worked the inventory system (took a long time)
More tutorial keys/prompts added!
Added controller support AND controls display:
Added wild seeds and fixed a problem with the night cycle
Farmland now longer spawns inside the rocket
Squid monster is in (he very scared):
Increased overall enviroment object spawns
Reduced the value of rocks
Adjusted boulder hitbox to make mining easier
Created splash screen for dev logo:
Added pick up mechanic/animation. (Rather than just sucking everything up)
Picks up all items in area, rather than every single one at a time
Added cracked frames for boulder mining:
Added trees!!:
Changed biome terrain green colour. Saturation lowered:
Trees now shake when hit (and give log and eyeball resources)
Fixed bushes wiggling (they wiggle better now)
Trees can respawn as well now
Player can die and respawn (with reduced max life) now.
Phew! I'm glad I've found motivation to work on the game again!
